Too many people waste their time trying to convince people they are right instead of using that same time and energy into proving everyone else wrong. You have to understand that most of these people want what is best for you, but they are coming from their own perspective and experiences when making those suggestions. Only you know what is right for you and instead of trying to argue with everyone else about it, just do it.
