Joe Biden’s Team RIPS Ice Cube Calls Him A Liar ” You Have To Be Truthful”

Ice Cube is being called a liar. Ice Cube has spent much of October defending his decision to engage in talks with the Trump campaign about his Contract With Black America (CWBA). Cube has defended his decision by claiming the Biden campaign wanted to delay talks until after the election. However, during an interview on SiriusXM’s The Joe Madison Show, the Biden campaign's co-chair Representative Cedric Richmond denied the rapper's claims. "Let me be crystal clear, that did not happen," Richmond said before admitting to meeting with Ice Cube and applauded him for taking the initiative to work on a plan addressing the issues of African Americans. "I think [Cube engaging in politics] is a good thing, however, once you embark on getting into it, one, you have to be truthful, but two, you have an obligation, I think, to see it through and to be thorough with it." "Our plan is very thorough," Richmond continued. "I won't say he has a skeleton plan, but he has an outline of things, he has an outline of things that should be done. It's not as comprehensive as our plan. And so that's what we told him. The offer to stay engaged was not, 'we'll talk to you after the election.' It went like this: 'Here's my cell number, anything else you want to talk about on this plan or anything you think, you know, we need to talk about further, just pick up the phone and call.'" Unlike many others, Richmond didn't criticize Cube's decision for speaking with Trump's campaign but feels like doing so added credibility to Trump's "ridiculous plan." "Look, him giving Donald Trump his plan and talking about why his plan is important to him, I don’t think that’s a bad thing," Richmond said. "I don’t think that’s a bad thing at all.
