One of the biggest challenges of being a leader this that you become detached from the day-to-day insights of the business and are still expected to steer the company in the right direction. The challenge with that is while they may think they know what is happening, they actually don't have the full picture and often disregard any feedback they hear from their employees or the consumer. It is a difficult situation to navigate but is very important for business owners to understand. Just because you run the business and have more context from an operations standpoint, it does not mean your decisions are clearly communicated by your actions to others.
