EVERY BUSINESS AND EVERY INDUSTRY HAS IT'S METHODS. BUT AS TECHNOLOGY AND SCIENCES ADVANCE THE MUSIC INDUSTRY IS ALSO ADAPTING. Through out my last 3 years of my experience in the music industry, when I got into full time, and a few years of part time experience prior to that, I have learned a lot of major lessons. Not just personally but also through other people's experiences and their investments (of course all in the music industry for this purpose ) And what I learned is that talent alone is not what makes successful artist successful, and in reality its only about 10%-20% of the entire ingredients. If a successful artist is a hot dog, then the talent is equivalent to the ketchup and mustard, not even the relish of onions or whatever else you would throw on it lol. Make a long story short, besides your talent, and besides all other business and marketing resources that go into making an A list artist successful, the personality traits, your attitude, and other psychological factors play a huge role in your ability to have a long career.
