YOU CAN'T BLAME THE LABEL IF YOUR MUSIC IS NOT POPPIN. OR CAN YOU? FIRST OF, let me start put by saying that I hate the blame mentality. Be accountable to your self and for your actions.
Second getting signed by a label is a situation that you can 100% control cause noone is putting a gun to your head. Its not an example where you're a part of a shitty system and the judge make the wrong judgment against you , cause unfortunately you can't do much, at least not in the immediate moment, to do something about that or change the law.

But you can control how you get signed to a label, you can control your team if you you're the CEO, and you can always control your self and your work output. So just like @21savage said, don't just blame the label if your project flops, first look in the mirror and see what could you have done or can do now to change the situation or predicament that you're in.
