HOW TO MAINTAIN AS AN INDEPENDENT ARTIST DAY # 15 of #30daybusinessadvicechallenge
I know I have mentioned this before, but being an independent artist isn't the easiest financially, especially in the beginning, so you're really going to have to think outside the box to make sure all of the decisions you make are conductive to your career growth. Many more artists get overwhelmed also because it's hard to visualize a path to stardom, but that's the wrong approach. You have to bootstrap everything and first figure out how can you replace the income you have currently with your music. If you can achieve that, then other than your health there should be nothing else stopping you since your making enough money to maintain and get to focus all of your available time to get to the next level.
